Gone are the days when websites took weeks for a professional to build. Anyone can build a website in two hours using free website building software called Wordpress. Wordpress removes the need to handle HTML, CSS or FTP.
You will need a website, but all you need to build it is Wordpress.
Wordpress will build page type websites, too, not just blogs, you just change one of the settings in the WP Dashboard.
Wordpress also allows you to change the appearance of your site just by installing a new Wordpress theme. Compare this to the time needed for a redsign of a conventional HTML-built site. Adding pages could NOT be more simple - Pages - Add New Page...Your new page is automatically added to all menus.
You can even buy software that lets you design your own Wordpress themes! I use this software to design all my Wordpress themes. It takes less time to design your own theme than it does to browse through hundreds of free themes. Designing your own WP theme also means you can choose font, layout, width, colours and even get rid of those annoying links to the theme designer and Wordpress!
